'The Source' is the name of the intranet run by the Marketing Department of S&N UK. The intranet was developed using a bespoke back-end, implemented in Lotus Notes.

S&N UK found that this system was not meeting their growing needs and looked for alternative cost-effective solutions.

UniTech with input gathered from SCL deployed Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 2003 as the new platform for 'The Source' as a fully managed computing service, complete within a service level agreement framework.

The project was deployed within 5 weeks rather than months with alternative bespoke concepts.
