This year’s Worldwide Partner Conference in New Orleans was, as expected, bigger and better than last year. The conference proved to be a busy and rewarding week for the UniTech team and plans are already well underway to attend the WPC10 Conference in Washington D.C. in July next year.
The conference offers the opportunity for Microsoft Partners from the global community to get together to share experiences and ideas. It is a platform for Microsoft to communicate information about the latest programmes, strategies and technologies, this year including Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Office 2010, Windows Mobile 6.5, Microsoft Silverlight 3, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, SharePoint and Azure Services Platform.
Highlights of the conference were bountiful, particularly the keynote speakers exclusive insights and outlines of innovation roadmaps for the upcoming year, and the vision of the future of technology in 10 years. Watch the keynotes now. The Technology A-Lists given by the executives were especially interesting along with the announcement of the launch of the Windows Mobile Marketplace which will be globally available on July 27, 2009 and the addition of Microsoft Surface, Microsoft Amalga, Microsoft HealthVault, Microsoft Office Communications Server into their A-Lists.
