MD of UniTech appointed Microsoft Liaison for IAMCP UK

MD of UniTech, Nigel Gibbons is appointed Microsoft Liaison for the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners (IAMCP) UK.

Currently the Scottish Regional Representative and member of the IAMCP UK Board, this is a prestigious position and enables UniTech to have an input in and stay at the forefront of innovations and new technologies.

The IAMCP, formed in 1994, represents Microsoft´s best of breed partners from around the globe with nearly 4,000 member companies in 33 countries, and over 80 chapters worldwide. The group provides Microsoft Partners with a voice into Microsoft programs, to the IT community at large, as well as a vehicle to facilitate mutual growth and business development among partners.

IAMCP lends its support to Voices for Innovation to help shape how the industry operates and succeeds with their Standards and Innovation Committee providing guidelines to all members.

The non-profit organization is operated by an annually elected board of directors, and is funded through membership fees and sponsor grants.
